| Customer Reviews: Great Songs, Easy to Play, Love it!! March 1, 2010 L. Gilbert (Saint Joseph, MO, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Love this book. It has a great selection and is easy practice for a beginner to intermediate piano/keyboard player.
Great song collection and easy to play April 30, 2010 Ariella Vaccarino (Los Angeles) This is a great collection to add to my library as a voice teacher. They are easy to play which is great for me because I am usually site reading as I teach and I want to be concentrating on the voices of my students rather than the difficulty of a piano score. Voice Lessons To Go v.1-4 The Complete Set
The problem I had with this edition April 23, 2010 Georgie (Southern California) I haven't been able to use this sheet music volume because it slaps shut while on the piano. My solution is to take it to a copy shop and have the binding cut off and have it rebound with a spiral piece so it will lie flat when open. I don't understand why it would be published in its current format. Sorry I can't comment on the arrangements.
Disappointed March 9, 2010 JL Ziegler (Chicago, IL) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this and volume I to play and sing with friends when we get together. The arrangements are painfully easy (as in the treble is the melody exclusively); I would not buy this unless you are quite new to piano or like to improvise. Most of the songs are so watered down that they are no longer very fun to play or sing. Also, the binding is TERRIBLE. You have to practically break the book in half to get it to stay open, even my music clip wasn't helping very much. The plus side is you can sightread all of these songs perfectly, so you don't need to worry about running through them ahead of time.
